The qualified and friendly staff of Church Hill Retirement Residence guarantees the rights, dignity, and privacy of each resident will be upheld. In addition, the individual religious views, and lifestyle beliefs will be respected and welcomed at Church Hill Retirement Residence.
The staff of Church Hill Retirement Residence are here to ensure the personal safety and comfort of each resident, while maintaining and encouraging an independent lifestyle.
Social Activities
Residents are offered a variety of in-house activities such as cards, board games and puzzles. A communal TV and DVD player are also available for resident use.
Residents are encouraged to make suggestions for preferred activities. Visitors and family members are welcome to take part in activities and events.
Personal Care
- Staffing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Calls to doctors with any concern
- Medication administration by a nurse if required
- Access to the Community Care Access Centre
- Assistance with bathing and personal hygiene if required
- Weekly housekeeping
- Personal laundry services on a weekly basis if requested
Safety Features
- 24 - hour monitored call bell system in each bedroom
- Elevator for the safety and convenience of residents living on the second floor
- Security cameras for 24 hour monitoring and safety of residents
- Staff and residents are made aware of all fire escapes and procedures during a fire on an ongoing base

- Telephone and cable outlets are provided in each personal room at Church Hill (the cost of installations and any fees will be assumed by the resident)
- Front door bus service or cabs for residents (cost will be assumed by the resident)
